create_configuration_import
Record a configuration package so it can be validated and applied.
Code
create_configuration_import › Request Body
file_idA configuration package already stored on this site. Must be active and of the configuration package file type.
urlPresigned Amazon S3 https link to the package. Only Amazon S3 hosts are accepted and redirects are refused, because the fetch is made from inside the cluster.
export_idA configuration export of this environment, from list_configuration_exports. It must have a stored package, so it must be complete rather than queued or failed.
create_configuration_import › Responses
successTrue if the request was handled
The configuration import record. Nothing has been run against it yet, so its status is null; running belongs to import_configuration.
delete_configuration_export
Delete a saved export and the package behind it.
Code
delete_configuration_export › Request Body
export_idThe record id of the export to delete
delete_configuration_export › Responses
messagesAny messages or errors related to the request
successWhether the request was successful
export_configuration
Export configuration settings as a package.
Code
export_configuration › Request Body
policy_type_idUUID of the policy type to export along with its dependencies (effective date, line, forms) and any related/underlying policy types.
excludePackage entities to leave out, by package section name. A promoted policy type always carries all of its configuration, so only these are accepted: system_tags, reports, settings, commission_structures, claims_payment_classifications, global_dynamic_deliverables, global_html_deliverables, credit_tiers, authority_limits, forms, dynamic_deliverables, brands. Excluding any other entity is refused with a message naming it. To leave out every file payload (PDF forms and Carbone templates), pass ["forms", "dynamic_deliverables", "global_dynamic_deliverables"].
package_nameWhat to call the package in the saved-exports list. Blank or absent means a name is composed from the policy type, location, effective date and the moment of the export.
export_configuration › Responses
The configuration export. Queued, it comes back at status queued with the background_job_id to poll; run in the request, it is already complete and names the package it produced. The package itself is never in the response: read it from the file the record names, through files/generate_download_url.
successWhether the request was successful
get_configuration_environment
Return the environment this site is, and whether it is production.
Code
get_configuration_environment › Request Body
get_configuration_environment › Responses
messagesAny messages or errors related to the request
successWhether the request was successful
get_configuration_export
Return one configuration export by id.
Code
get_configuration_export › Request Body
export_idThe record id returned when the job was queued
get_configuration_export › Responses
successTrue if the request was handled
The configuration export record.
get_configuration_import
Return one configuration import by id.
Code
get_configuration_import › Request Body
import_idThe configuration import id returned by create_configuration_import
get_configuration_import › Responses
successTrue if the request was handled
The package, and the outcome of the last run against it. Re-running replaces that outcome, so this is current state rather than a history.
get_configuration_import_note
Return the audit note an import produced.
Code
get_configuration_import_note › Request Body
import_idA configuration import recorded here.
get_configuration_import_note › Responses
messagesAny messages or errors related to the request
successWhether the request was successful
import_configuration
Validate or apply a configuration package already recorded here.
Code
import_configuration › Request Body
import_idThe configuration import to run against, as returned by create_configuration_import.
dry_runValidate the package without applying it. Default false.
take_restore_pointExport the current configuration of every policy type the package would replace before applying it, and record that export as the import's way back. Default true. Ignored on a dry run, which replaces nothing. Sending false applies with no way back.
import_configuration › Responses
The configuration import the run was made against. Queued, it comes back at status queued; poll get_configuration_import with its id. Run in the request, it is already complete. Either way the outcome is in summary, and a later run replaces it.
successWhether the request was successful
list_configuration_exports
Return configuration exports, newest first.
Code
list_configuration_exports › Request Body
limitPage size. Defaults to 25; values outside the range are clamped rather than rejected.
offsetHow many to skip. Ordering is dateAdded descending with id as a tiebreaker, so paging is stable for rows written in the same second.
statusOptional filter. An unrecognised value is rejected rather than ignored, so a typo cannot read as 'none found'.
list_configuration_exports › Responses
successTrue if the request was handled
A page of configuration exports.
list_configuration_imports
Return configuration imports, newest first.
Code
list_configuration_imports › Request Body
limitPage size. Defaults to 25; values outside the range are clamped rather than rejected.
offsetHow many to skip. Ordering is dateAdded descending with id as a tiebreaker, so paging is stable for rows written in the same second.
statusFilter to packages whose runs include one in this status. Matching is against the runs, because a package has no status of its own. An unknown value is rejected rather than ignored: ignoring it would answer a typo with the whole listing.
list_configuration_imports › Responses
successTrue if the request was handled
A page of configuration packages, newest first
preview_configuration_export
Return what a package for this policy type would hold, before building it.
Code
preview_configuration_export › Request Body
policy_type_idUUID of the policy type the package would be built for.
excludePackage entities to leave out, as export_configuration takes them. Their sections are left out of the preview.
preview_configuration_export › Responses
successWhether the request was successful
